Hello and welcome!

This site contains the majority of my watercolour paintings over 46 years. Rather than just show recent paintings, this is a record of my artistic journey over this time (with the successes as well as the failures/ "learning opportunities").

Separately I have over 50 landscape sketchbooks dating back to about 1978 - which are not on this site.

I am "into" watercolour as much now, as I was in 1979 when I started, and feel I've become close to being able to express what I want to, in my paintings - but there is always more to learn.

My paintings are in sections under "Paintings" - such as "Latest Work" for paintings from the past few weeks/months, or there are older paintings in all other sections e.g. "Landscapes", "Marine", "Portrait".

I enjoy doing demos, workshops, commissions, from time to time, and offer private tuition by arrangement.
